As an individual, I filter everything I do with 3 things in mind: happiness; health; impact. Those who know me know this well. To embody this in my work, here is my pledge / commitment across Design / Product / Site and Partners.
W work hard to do as much of this as we can on every project, small or big. Each project is different, but working with us, you are agreeing to help achieve these goals, creating a considered design.
Design
Quality: first and foremost this underpins what we stand for.
Longevity: with the above, this goes hand in hand. It’s not about quick fixes. No one gains from that.
Asking the questions: what is it made of / where was it made. By whom.
Designing with product / impact/ suitability together: considered.
Managing time and budget to achieve our values as much as possible.
Honesty: it’s important we are all honest.
2024: We’d like to design a good cause project, FOC. And a public space. Please get in touch if you can recommend.
Product
Natural and recycled materials recommended throughout.
B Corp or companies/workshops with high credibility for newly made.
Products that can be reused / circular.
Handmade / Second hand / vintage / reloved wherever possible first.
Reduce: no products with chemicals / foams/ plastics. No off gassing. Aim: 0% plastics / chemicals. Plastics only if vintage.

Site
Reduce waste: A shocking statistic in our industry - 1% of demolition gets reused: this is where we do need to improve on - it’s a big goal of 2024 and beyond.
All projects insulate first. Ensuring the property can be run as sustainably and efficiently as possible.
Recommend non- fossil fuel heating.
2024 I am launching resale of any leftovers: the 10% wastage that trades ask for
Site partners who will pledge to our values.
Partners
Hero those who are doing their all to make a positive difference for our planet and our communities. By selecting them in projects, and in 2024 sharing with the wider community.
Reuse/ manage waste in the industry: Work more with Haines Collection and others.
For all new products bought to work solely with: Dodds and Shutes. Who audit / helping companies who offer new products do it as sustainably as possible
